TRIUNE MINISTRIES
Triune Ministries is a three-fold ministry of Paynesville Lutheran Church that includes prayer, visitation, and communion for people in our congregation and community. The lay ministers that make up this ministry team are committed to the spiritual and emotional care of those in need. In support of the pastoral leadership of the church, lay participants in the prayer and visitation ministry of the PLC have a vital role in caring for people in our larger faith community. Prayer Disciples
Prayer is an important part of our church mission to love generously and gracefully. Prayers are offered for any reason and can be kept confidential or printed in the church bulletin to include the entire congregation's prayers. |
Visitation Ministry
Similar to our Communion Ministry, this piece of our Triune Ministries is more simply being there when people need us. Whether in the hospital, at home, or just in need of a friend. Often called Faith Full Friends, this is a dedicated group of visitors committed to being there for those who cannot get out and about as they'd wish. |
Communion Ministry
For those who are shut-ins at home or experiencing some kind of illness and are unable to be with us during worship, our commitment is to provide the Sacrament of Holy Communion. |
