WORSHIP AT PAYNESVILLE LUTHERAN CHURCH

Worship is primarily relationship - between God and God's people. 
In worship we connect with God and with one another in a community of faith. 
God works in and among and through people. 
When we worship we do so actively, participating in the prayers, hymns, liturgy and sacraments.

WORSHIP MUSIC

CELEBRATION Choir
The choir sings two times a month and is directed by Cheryl Bungum. Practices are at 7:00 p.m. on Wed nights.  If you would like to be a part of our choir please contact Cheryl.

Special Music  
This is an opportunity for anyone who would like to provide special music during the offering time in a worship service.  If you sing solo or in a group, play an instrument or both, please contact PLC's Worship Coordinator Kari 
Shumaker to schedule a time for you to be involved in worship.

YOLO Youth Band
Made up of high school youth, the YOLO Youth Band leads contemporary worship on Wednesday nights and occasionally on Sunday mornings.
We believe music is an important part of a meaningful worship experience and PLC has many avenues for people to participate in the sharing of music at our worship gatherings.

As briefly explained above we have many different worship experiences: traditional with piano and organ music, contemporary with one of our five worship bands, and a more blended experience during summer months.
Healing Harmonies Band
One of our adult worship bands, Healing Harmonies leads contemporary worship services one Sunday a month. They are a mix of acoustic guitar, keyboard, bass, drums and voices.

On The Horizon Youth Band
Made up of junior high youth, the OTH group leads contemporary worship two Sundays a month and occasionally our Wednesday night worship services.

Solid Rock Band
Another of our adult worship bands, the Solid Rock Band leads worship one Sunday a month and once a month for our Wednesday night worship service. They are a mix of electric guitar, keyboard, bass, drums and voices.
