In the past few weeks Pastor Paul has introduced a “breakthrough prayer” that invites us into a deeper relationship with God. This prayer is designed and written by the PLC Breakthrough Prayer Team to invite God to open our hearts to new possibilities. This is not a program it is a movement, designed to use one of the most powerful gifts we have, prayer! The power of prayer is an incredible gift that we often take for granted. But imagine what happens when a congregation unites to pray collectively and consistently for God to break through in new and miraculous ways? Paynesville Lutheran has launched into a congregation wide breakthrough prayer initiative to do just that! This time of prayer promises to fuel an atmosphere of possibility. As we embark on this time together our entire focus begins to shift from inward to up-and-outward. It's easier than you think--and the results will make spiritual history right here in your congregation, community and beyond!
We need you! Please join us in praying this prayer daily. We have made it simple. Soon we will have cards with the prayer printed on for you to take with you. These are examples of those cards. What we are asking is that you set your clock, watch, alarm to 6:57 am or pm or both. Then we invite you to pray this prayer each and every day. There is no magic to 6:57 it is simply our address and we thought it would be an easy time to remember!
