Be Alert Activity
It’s time to go exploring! Head out into the woods, onto a nature trail, or into your backyard and just start exploring. The beauty of God’s kingdom is all around us!
For this activity, grab an empty egg carton and take it with you as you explore. Be on the lookout for the cool stuff and the weird stuff, the ordinary and the extraordinary stuff. When you see something that piques your interest or curiosity and put it in one of the spots in your egg carton. If something’s WAY too big for the egg carton, maybe leave it where you found it and take a picture instead.
Then, take all the stuff you found on your adventure, bring it home, and make a mural with it. Organize the things you collected in a way that reminds you of the beauty of God’s creation and the importance of noticing all the goodness around us.

Once you’re finished with all that, recap the day with the iQuest Story Connection page we use for our iQuest curriculum at church. This is a great way to reflect on what you’ve done and connect it the biblical story!
